Default FOXPRO question...

Does anyone here own, or ever used the FOXPRO CS24 model E-caller. I cant imagine ever spending that much on a call, but i was out with a guy who had the Prairie Blaster, love the FOXPRO calls, but way too big of a call to lug around though. Looking at the CS24 because it is a lot smaller, just wondering about the quality, and the remote control range, and how it holds up in the cold winter, here in MN, I have seen some calls not hold up very well, thanks.

I've owned a few different Foxpro's and while they were all good calls the CS-24 was the best. Here in the south I don't call much at long distance, but I did test this call. I had no trouble with the CS-24 and TX-500 at over 200 yards no telling how far you could use it, but this was as far as I tested it. I used it in brush around the 100-150 yard mark that I had no visual on the call what so ever and I had excellent response just like I was 2ft from it. The CS-24 will pump out all the sound you need and if you want it going in two directions you can buy the extra speaker for it also. I needed a call that would produce excellent quality sound no matter how high or low the volume was, that was durable, and that wasn't to out of this world expensive...the CS-24 met my every need and much much more. I can't tell you how abused that thing got 100+ degree temps, throwing it in and out of my back pack getting banged around day after day and I never had the first problem out of it. As far as the cold I can't say because im sure our cold here isn't anything like what ya'll have, but I honestly don't see you having a problem out of it. If you ever did Foxpro has the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever!

I have been hunting jackal with the Foxpro Spitfire for the last 3 odd years.

The CS -24 sounds like an awesome caller.
