Well I did it last night and put the 2012 carbon element on layaway.
The draw is alot smoother than my current hunting/target rig.Because its smoother I can pull it at 75 pounds fairly easy I currently shoot the 350 blue streak carbon express arrows 27.25 inches long.I believe there .335 spine. I have a 29 inch draw. The problem is with a wrap my arrows weight in at 374grains one grain below IBO. Would you just put like a 30 to 50 grain weight in the front end which would give arrow greater front of center. or Just buy some new arrows that would work for the bow. |

If your shooting any modern compound bow at 29" and 75lbs I would say those 350's are going to be underspined. I would be looking for new arrows in a .300 spine. Adding weight to the front of your current arrows would only weaken your spine so adding weight that way would be out of the question for me.

I would have to agree with ol' lungbuster on that one. With the extra FOC this will weaken the spine. However, you might be within the spine requirements with the extra weight.
But lets face it. If I was going to throw that kind of cash on a new rig like that I would want to be shooting an arrow that I could get the optimal performance out of that bow. Something that is ideal for it.Just my 2 cents. |
