Default Broadhead Help

I have bought new strikers 100gr. to put on the end of my Gold Tip 5575's. I shot them today and they are hitting about 3 or 4inches to the left. I'm shooting about 62lbs out of a Hoyt Vectrix. I'm getting bullet holes on paper and pretty sure my bow is tuned pretty good. Is this normal? What can be done in the back yard WITHOUT spending any money? I don't really just wanna move my sights....But, if I gotta....

Make sure that your BH's spin true on the shaft and I would do walk back tuning rather that the paper tune. If you still get the same results after the walk back tuning, it might be a spine issue with the 55/75 GT. If the spine shows weak, you could cut some off your shaft to make them stiffer.

I would move your rest a tiny amount at a time to the right until the the fieldpoints and the broadheads hit together. This will more then likely happen to the right of where your hitting now. Then all you will have to do is move the sight a tad to the left to get them both on target after they group together.

When I move mine I only move it 1/32" at a time and if it doesn't help you can always move it back. But I only use getting perfect bullet holes as a start. I then adjust the rest a tiny bit at a time to get everything grouping together and then re sight it and you will be stacking arrows in no time.

Both of the above posters are correct. If all you have done thus far it to paper tune your bow, I'd walk back tune first, and then if necessary, BH tune it. So...

Do this first...

If your paper tuned and walk back tuned already then I would say you have a "stiff" spine reaction. Start cranking the bow poundage up 1/4 turn at a time if they start hitting to the right turn it back an 1/8 turn.

That should do it and cost you nothing but time.
