Default Broadhead tuning help?

I spent 3+ hours trying to broadhead tune my gear today and couldn't get BH to fly with FP's. Elevation tuned no problem. BUT, no matter what I tried, the FP was always right of the BH. The farther I moved from center (either left or right) the farther the FP was from the BH. The best I could do was about 2" L/R.

Here's the details: Elite GT500, 58#, 28" dl, limbdriver rest. Arrows are A/C/C PH's 440 spine, cut 26 7/8", slick trick 100 gr's (std's and mags), wraps and Flex Fletch FFP 360's helical fletch. I also tried some of the same arrows with 4" AAE elite plastiflech vanes.

So, what the heck is going on? Are my arrows too weak/stiff? Easton chart, OT2 and TAP put me in the good zone for spine, if anything too weak, but the pattern suggests too stiff? This is very frustrating.

Don't move the rest left or right after paper tuning. Your center shot should be set right after you paper tune properly.

When broadhead tuning the only things I adjust is draw weight or arrow spine.

If you can't turn the draw weight up. Try 125 grain heads to weaken the spine.

Start all over again with making sure the bow is timed right. Then paper tune and then BH tune.A bow will group field points even if it is out of time, but BH's are a different story.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I tried some older CE maxima hunters 250's, same length but stiffer spine, lighter gpi and 2" blazers. I could get these to shoot together and even BH right of FP. I'm very happy with this result, but still really frustrated, since these behave "weaker" than the A/C/C's.

The FOC of the lighter shaft is higher. The more you increase FOC the weaker the effective spine of the arrow. A small difference in FOC makes a big difference in spine.
