Default what was your shortest blood trail and what head did you use?

My shortest blood trail was a Javalina in Texas it went 6 yards lung and heart shot with a Rocky Mt. Advantage

I've gotten my shortest with 2-blade heads. I've shot moose bears and deer that didn't leave after being shot. But I'll add a real quiet bow was a big part of it. Most of the time deer will hear it some and spook, stop about 20-25 and look back and then go down.

I have shot 3 different gobblers with recovery measured in feet with a Vortex Pro Extreme.

The shortest on a deer was a tie between a doe and an 8 point. Both shot 10-15 years ago. Both were with Muzzy 125 3 blades and most importantly, feathers. Both deer traveled 10-15 yards.

The doe I shot back in October with a 1 3/4" 125 grain Extra Cut Grim Reaper. She literally took 2 steps, dropped, let out a ROAR & died.

Default G5 Striker

The shortest blood trail I have ever had was from this year. 20 yard shot on a doe, double lunged. She went about 8 yards and stood over a creek before expiring right where she stood! Athens Accomplice with the GTs and
G5 heads did a number on her.

Slick Trick Magnum 100gr. She got hit and had no clue, never flinched. She walked about 10 steps, pouring out blood from both sides...then her legs started to shake and she just folded.

Made a 32 yard shot on a small Mule deer with a Thunderhead 85. It jump into a dead run, and bolted off at full speed. Only made it at most 25-30 yards when it cartwheeled into the dirt. Top of the heart/lung shot.

Magnus Stingers & Buzzcuts have given me my shortest bloodtrails, seen all my deer pile up within sight when using these.

Prolly dont count but a spine shot straight down. deer locked up and fell straight over. It was a big expandable made by vortex.

I have had several deer go down within 30 yds dbl lung shot with a G5 striker

I shot a doe one year with a 3 blade Muzzy 100 at 52yds and it came back to me and ended up not 20yds out. Longest for real was a doe I killed with a 125 glue on Wensel Woodsman. She went 10yds and fell over.
