What is your draw weight and your draw length?
I'm just curious to see how many of us are little people and how many of us are gorillas! Mine is 60 lbs and 26" I guess I should post this in the General Discussion area...I'll re-post there.

My draw weight is around 72.3 pounds and my draw length is 31, but I shoot 30 to allow for thick clothes in cold weather...But I am a pretty good sized fella...about 6'2 245.

Back in my youth I shot 94# @ 32" with fingers. About 15-18 years ago I got a Jenning's Carbon Extreme that would shoot a faster arrow (292fps 500 grain) at only 80# and 31". At that time most manufacturers stopped offering higher poundage bows especially with long draw lengths. About 8 years ago I started using a release.
Now I am just an old wussy shooting a Martin Firecat 70# @ 31". I am still getting 272fps with that 500 grain arrow and loving the 80% letoff. I am happiest with this setup on those really cold Wisconsin days after sitting on stand all morning. Isn't technology great. I figure with kinetic energy over 82fp, it should be enough for even our biggest whitetails. I am a little over 6'6" and about 270# but am starting to feel my age.

I guess I should have asked for your height and weight as well, as it does add a little insight as to who shooots what. I mean, there are probably none of us at 5'7" and 170 pounds pulling an 80# or 90# bow!
I'm 5'7, 170# or there abouts!

It does. Just add roughly 20fps...
It think that height and built (muscle mass) makes a difference. I have played professional rugby for very long, so I spent hours wrestling with guys and in the gym. therefor upperbody very strong so no issue on drawing 90#.
