I thought about it but decided to go with the 1 3/8". I may pick up a pack to try out this season but was waiting for some feedback first.

Default I am Sending the WhiteTail Special via Air-mail this Season

I am launching them from a Z7 on a Victory VAP with 70lbs. draw 28.5" draw length. I better see that buck drop with the blood faucet these things should turn on. Picking up my new arrows Tuesday from Lancaster Archery Supply and will then begin sighting and tuning in the Specials.

I will definitely be honest with my results as I am shooting a few different broadheads, hoping to acquire my staple so to say. The Swhacker vs. Vortex Pro Extreme vs. Grim Reaper Whitetail Special. I will take pics of entry, exit and internals from each wound channel and post them up. I think talk is cheap and I am tired of over marketed Rage Broadheads. No disrespect to the users but if someone were to post an exit only page I doubt many Rage exit wounds will be available. It's all about breaking through and not only in the cage for me and that's what I am hoping for with these broadheads.

They leave a nasty hole IF you hit them just right. I have had issues with the blades not opening upon impact and with a massive 2" cut 3 blade head you are going to need alot of KE to put it through the deer. I was only getting dime size entrances and not exit but given I hit a shoulder blade both times I used them. I would just check out the blades and make sure they open with little effort. If I go with a big cut, I will stick with the Swhackers. On that note though the 1 3/8 cut reaper can not be surpassed in the lethality and durability department of mechanicals.

I was shooting the 1-3/4" and they are awesome might even shoot the 2" this season if they shoot as good as the 1-3/4 they will be great every shot I took with them was a pass through.

We tried them last year blades seemed to be seemed duller then the ones on the 1 3/8.The blades didn't deploy like the 1 3/8 do on entering.
