New broadhead from ArrowDynamic Solutions
have a look at this link discussing the Radian and showing some field results from independant field testers from in North America as well as Namibia in Africa. Any questions...feel free to ask in a post, private message or just give us a call at the office. Be glad to answer any you've got. |

My only question now is where can I get them. I'd like a pack of 100 grain head to try out. The sites online wanted $10 to $18 just to ship. Are they in stores or can I only get them through the web? I haven't seen them around my area (mass), even in the stores that carry the Atom.

Not sure where you saw those shipping costs....I confirmed you can have them shipped directly from us with shipping only costing $3.72 for first class postage...and $5.75 for Priority to Mass.
Just give our office a call and speak with Cindy. She'll get you setup and get the Radians in your hands quick to give them a try. |

sounds perfect. I only did a quick google search and didn't look around very hard but I'll def give a call tomorrow to get a pack ordered. I think most internet company's usually just charge a flat shipping rate regardless of size of product and that just gets to me. Thanks for your help. I love the atoms and assuming the radians are the same quality, these heads should be great. Love the concept.

As you all know....my testing isn't done until some seriously large animals are repeatedly skewered with forensic results studied.
While I know the vast majority of ya'll will be chasing little old whitetails with the Radian to "Test" it. We chase critters which provide significantly more of a test than whitetails such as this Eland....although...I personally like to skewer as many whitetails as possible also with it just to capture the relevant lethal capacity data as well. I'm confident you will experience the same lethal results, pick it up, wipe off the blood and shoot another critter. Here also is a photo of the last buck I killed last season...I was holding out for a big ten pointer we had running around the ranch...but when this monster 8 showed up...I couldn't help myself so shot the largest 8 pointer of my bow hunting career. |

Just as a follow up, I called this company on the 17th and ordered a pack on the 100 grain Radian's as ArrowDS suggested. They charged $3.72 just as he said and they arrived in my mail box today (Aug 19th) at 10:00am. And I live in Massachusetts. Doesn't get any better than that! Thanks again and they look even better now that I'm holding them.

I use the RamCat's as well. Shot them both side by side yesterday. Both flew just like my field points. The blades on the Radian seem to be much stronger though. The RamCat's blades are thinner and I actually bent the tip of two blades shooting it through a foam layered target. It blasted right through but the blades are so thin at the tips. It still shot the same with the bent tips but the blades are def weaker. Also, the allen screws that keep them from moving forward (to qualify as not barbed) loosened after two shots. I had to tighten them back down on three of the four RamCat's to keep them from flopping around. I think they would probably fly just as straight when loose but I wouldn't take the chance. I think both will kill just about anything they hit but I feel like I'll be replacing the blades on the RamCat's much more frequently.

A little blue Loctite on the screws will solve the loosening problem on the Ramcats. As far as the Radians, do they come in a 100 grain or only in the 125? Would love to try some of the heads if they are offered in a 100 grain.

Yes, Radian's come in 100 grain. That's what I shoot. Something else that is weird about the RamCat is that the size of the allen key is odd. I have a full set of metric and standard (over 30 sizes) and not one of them fit the size on the broad head. I had to torque a smaller size to the side to get any bite on it at all. Maybe they send the specific allen key in the package with the new blades? Just strange. Thought about Loctite but in my opinion it's a terrible idea for a broad head with replaceable blades. Not only are you adding weight to a supposedly weight specific product, your also making it harder to remove those screws when time comes to change the blades. Those screws are small enough and easy enough to strip out as it is. I don't need to make it anymore difficult. Also, if I buy a pack of broad heads, I don't feel like I should have to fix/modify them to make them work the way they were intended. Don't get me wrong, they are still good heads and they will be in my quiver this year. They do a ton of damage and fly great. These are just a few of the little/strange things that came up after shooting them. None of them are a deal breaker and all can be fixed.

Blue Loctite is not the type that basically welds the 2 parts together. Blue just puts a better hold on the 2 parts and it is still not hard to take aprt or unscrew. Don't know about the allen wrench as i had several of those that fit those screws in my tackle box from close to 40 years of collecting allen wrenches from archery items.
