Default RAM CAT 100G vs Muzzy 100G 3 Blade

Can any one tell me about the Ram Cat? I've been shooting the Muzzy 100 Gr 3 Blade for several years and have killed several Deer, Hogs and Turkeys with it. I have one of my good friends that just started shooting the RAM CAT 100 Gr. He says it's the best thing since sliced bread. I'd love to hear from someone else that has some experience with the RAM CAT!

Shoots just like my field points. Haven't had the chance to use it on any game yet but from the looks of my target, it's going to reek havoc on whatever it hits.

Ramcats are NOT mechanical. The blades are in a fixed position on the shot and only move forward in the ferrule when the head is pulled backwards thru the target or animal. They are as good a head as there is on the market and every penetration test i did last year they outpenetrated the Rage 2 blade and Tekan T3 by a wide margin each time. Flew great and worked on 5 SCI Gold Medal animals in RSA last Sept including a warthog that had 15 7/8" tusks! They have also blown thru several feral hogs here in TX last season. They are my go to head this year for sure.

You have had some awesome reviews with this head....

Brett Fulton was awesome to talk to at the ATA show.....great guy. I told him about your reviews on the video we did for BHT. Although the editing didn't work out for the videos this year, he thru a plug in for ya on tape....

It really is an awesome broadhead....

Fabbri, some have siad it is a mechanical because the blades do pivot, but they are in teh fixed flight and contact position and only move towards the tip of the ferrule after they enter the target or animal and you begin to "pull" them back out. Okie, thanks for the info. I am going to be hard pressed to find a head I like better than the Ramcat and I like to tinker so I do try new heads every year. This year will be the new Wasp, but first impressions are not up there with the Ramcat.
