I agree with you: Shuttle t-locks are awesome broadheads. very accurate and very tough

but after I tried the Wensel, wow I love them

If the initial question is serious, the serious reply is: the one that lets you solve the hardest problems, the bigger and most tough animals, the hardest shots.
Set yourself on that, and everything lighter and simpler will go fine.
I personally use Hunor Africa 125, that with my normal 70 # bow and arrow setup (I mean, not the Dangerous Game one), can assure me a pass trough of at least the BH on the toughest game on earth.
On the rifle side, with my 416 Rigby I have no problems in putting down light game, if needed...

Muzzy, Magnus, Buzzcutt, Bear Razorhead, Modoc, Snuffer, Wasp, Savora, Zwickey and yes even the Rage. All lethal and will all put meat in your freezer. I've shot more different kinds of broadheads than were available when I started bowhunting 28 years ago. Picking the spot and hitting it is more important than what broadhead you have fastened to the end of the shaft. Just my 2 cents. But.. put a griz or water buffalo in front of me and give me a 2 blader and make it heavy.

Amen...this is a very old thread that I started...I really enjoy seeing the different commets the thread attracts. You really don't understand the difficulties a question like this can cause a brain until you have it in front of you thinking about it.

I have to agree switched to standard muzzy 3 blade last year and have loved them. I have shot 16 deer in the last 2 years and they have been amazing.

I would not be afraid to tackle anything in NA or Africa with the proper bow/arrow setup and a Phantom broadhead. In fact our Phantoms have taken everything you can possibly shoot with a bow and arrow in the world.
For deer, bear, elk, etc. comparable sized animals any of our trocar tipped heads can and will work just fine as well.
