Default What is the best all around head?

What is the best broadhead for all around use? Whether your going to be hunting those mid-western giant whitetails, black bear in Canada, turkeys of all varieties, or just some small game around the house.

The one that flies the best and you have the most faith in. It then depends on whether or not you consider a broadhead a single use piece of equipment or a durable tool that gets reused..

I will start with this question......
  • What is the best fixed blade head...two, three or four blade?
That is fine with me...I do agree with you. I was just curious to see if anyone had a head that they like to use for everything. Not necessarily the best head on paper, but a head that they use for everything and are comfortable using that particular head for everything.

I personally don't even have a favorite all around head. I use a G5 Striker and Tekan for whitetail. I am going to give the Tekan a try for turkey this spring. I also use the G5 small game head for rabbits, squirrels, etc.

I have been hearing nothing, but good things about the Grim Reapers. I definitely want to give them a try.

i dont think there is an all around head, there are soooo many different hunts that ask so much from ur head. if there was a head to take if you just had to go survive to kill animals, i'd have to say a simple, tough, fixed blade.

I agree with you just like I agreed with Booner on this subject. I started this thread to see if there were people using a broadhead for everything and were comfortable doing so. Not necesarily the best head on paper, but a head that they use all the time no matter the game they are after.
