Getting sighted in at only 30 yards out is really not being sighted in. If you want to see how good you are really sighted in move back to 40, 50 and 60 yards. The further back you get the more critical your tune and even the placement of your sight pins become. If you can still get good groups at the longer yardages, I'd say you're sighted in. Other wise you might just be fooling yourself.

There have been many discussions such as this one in the past on this web site...I personally believe bow tuning, and broadhead tuning are very vital to having a deadly set-up. I'm glad to see someone being concerned about it. A lot of people will give up on a fixed blade broadhead, because sometimes they can be difficult to tune. Going to a mechanical broadhead is not always the answer. You maybe hitting your spot, but your arrow might not be flying as well as you think. First, and foremost paper tuning which is a great tool to check your form...after you have figured that out then you can go onto tuning your bow, and broadhead tuning your set-up. I know this has all been mentioned, but I like putting my two cents in. Tuning is a pet peeve of mine, and I think it is very important. Not only, because you have confidence in your equipment, but it is being fair to the game you are hunting as well.
