Liking the Muzzy MX4's
I started shooting Muzzy MX4's at hogs before deer season started in Texas and Arkansas just to see if I liked them. I have read many posts about difficulties in getting these heads to fly right. I have also read where many have said they had heads that failed when spin tested.
So far, I have 3 packages and all have spun well and they fly great. I was shooting ST mags but swapped to Muzzy on a whim. I did have to tweak my rest just a tad to the right but after I did this not only can I shoot MX4's but it didn't have any effect on the POI of the ST's or the XT4's. The movement was very slight.
I can't tell that either head kills any better than the other but the Muzzy's are cheaper. I think that ST's are more forgiving in a bow that is not as well tuned or that is what it seems to me.
So far I have taken 9 hogs, 1 fox, 2 yotes and 2 deer with the first 6 heads. These things are tough and hold an edge very well. They are also easier for me to touch up.
I was told that if your bow is tuned you should be able to shoot any BH. I don;t know but I am shooting ST's, MX4's and XT4's to the same POI as my FP's out of my bow and I am pretty pleased about it.
