Default NAP DEEP SIX Broadheads

Anyone try any of these new broadheads yet? I am thinking of trying them with the new shafts from Easton.

I'm kind of upset that the big nasty is only a deep six.

The Big Nasty is the same as the RazorCap from NAP only different weight ferrules. Same blade on all of them.

NAP sent me out some DS Spitfires prior to the holidays and I was able to take two does with them in December. They worked well. last week I did a little testing with the Spitfires in my basement. My setup has over 100# KE so I am tough on BH's and arrows. I used the same BH that killed the deer. I was shooting through 3/4" plywood. First shot blasted through and stuck into target about 8" and looked fine, blades were not bent at all. Second shot was at a 45 degree angle from 10 feet, again it blasted through and looked fine. However, when spun, there was a slight wobble. Ferrule was bent a little. Third shot went through again from straight on. Blades looked fine, but this time, the ferrule broke at the thread. I suspect it was because it was bent. Overall though, I was very impressed with the strength. I have some new DS Thunderhead Razors on the way to test. I may use them on a big bear hunt this spring in N. Sask.
