I like what the good doctor has done for bowhunting. There are a lot of folks that dismiss his research because it doesn't coincide with their personal beliefs. Personally, I like too much information than not enough. Hard to disagree with a guy who has run thousands of broadheads through tough animals. This segment on penetrating heavy bone was really interesting to me.

I think the dude is Awesome. Even if it is an opinion...it's more research than most folks will see in a lifetime.

Good point Stan, too much information cannot be a bad thing IMO.

Anyone that argues with him can't be the sharpest tool on the shed (with all due respect). Everything he has gathered coincides with what physics tells us & there's a reason physics is considered a law. Argue Ashby & you argue physics.........you always lose when you argue with physics lol

I love reading his work. He was a big influence in me upping my arrow weight and shooting a 2 blader.

Like many others after reading his report, I too are looking at testing and switching or changing setups to a Grizzlystik and there broad heads, When the report come out and was made to a PDF form I made it my night time reading and still read it after five times. There will always be people whom don’t like change. I’ll tell them change is good in some areas. The report opened eyes to the science behind it. I’m a big fan of Alaska Bow hunting Supply’s and the sliver flame from German Kinetics . But there will always be your Hatfield-McCoy feud. Here’s a link were the full reports can be found down loaded if you are looking for some night time reading.

I went and saw his seminar at the ATA. Even more impressive in person. The guy doesn't promote any head or arrow or anything....Completely un-biased. Has hard facts that for an hour after the seminar he stayed and answered questions...He had an educational answer for every question that was presented. Lots of BH reps there and he answered every question they had with data to back it up. Made me seriously re-think my set-up. Hard to argue with cold hard facts. KME Jake
