Wow...what a great week...and it was hot...

First off I want to thank you guys that donated the broadheads for the kids they really thought they were COOL...

It was the first time to even see, shoot, and hear about archery for a lot of these kids...

The kids had a blast and couldn't wait till the next day to sign up for the class. Some of them got up early to be the first ones to sign up...

For the little time we had, we basically did as much shooting as we could at bag targets as well as 3d targets...

So I will just post a lot of pics of the kids as well as some other stuff..

In the first pic...the guy in the front row with the black shirt and glasses is one of my best friends (the guy that reminds of you BFL) and he helped me with the kids...He is also the worship leader...

Also had a great time just talking with these kids about their everyday lives and struggles they have....and they have a lot of them...most of us are really blessed after some of the things I learned about them

The theme for the camp was Chasing Lions....and was based on the Scripture verses...Matthew 16:24-26....talk about a good dose of humility...

I am hoping and praying that the decisons these kids made this week will stay true in their lives from this moment on and that they can make an impact on other lives as well...

Thank You guys once again for being a part of this...

Travis that is too cool...You are a heckuva good guy! Great job with the kids. Thanks for taking the time! It'll mean more to them than you might ever know. Congrats on a great week.

Travis - what an awesome event. You certainly will reflect on that until next year's event. Wow, simply outstanding! What a great way to introduce youth to the great sport of archery.

wow I wish a group of experienced hunters would have done something like that around where I live. What a great way to introduce younger kids to archery. What fun!!!

I have an old muzzy with a rolled edge. Hard to tell and it looks good. When is the event ?

The event was in July of last year. Okie will have to chime in if another event will be held this year, if that's what you were referring to.

Dr.Redneck, thanks for the offer. I still have all the broadheads from last year, including a Muzzy like yours. There is no need to send it unless you want to, I will leave that up to you. I plan on showing these again this coming year at camp.
