Default great penetration...........

............ Into a tree. Lol. The head was performing exactly like it should. Blades opening and plowing a hole. No was wasn't intentionally shooting into a tree. Missed a yearling low...... Was shooting uphill and was over 40 yards. Only thing I'm bummed about is the head broke at the threads. Oh well. Not supposed to cut wood with them anyway.

cool pic cartman. Sucks the threads broke but i guess something had to give and i don't think you were going to chop that tree down with one shot! If you don't feel that it held up like it should just get me your address and I will send a replacement! Good luck on the next one!

That right there is some fine customer service..but I'm not going to take advantage of you guys like that. Centerpunch a hardwood at around 307 fps and like you said. Something has to give. Lol. If I have another one in the pack fail ill look you up. Otherwise, I just need to stop shooting at yearlings or estimate yardage better.

Thanks again for the offer!!

You know I am brother!!!

Just got back from looking around a new to me public hunting area. Place looks GREAT!!!! Tracks everywhere, couple small rubs and trails that look like cattle paths! Can't wait to get some more time there.

Good deal you found a nice looking spot but......enough about tracks and rubs, what does the tree population look like. I have one of every type of tree in Montana in the record books here!! I just bought some GR broadheads and they dont feel real sharp. I know they have to be, I just bought 3 brand new packs at local archery shop. Maybe because I am used to rubbing my thumb across Muzzy blades which are thinner. My friend uses these and I saw him shoot one deer and WOW!!!! Maybe I am just being picky, or its how the MAXX edge is designed.
