Actually the best part of being a shadtree knife maker or a shadetree broadhead maker or a shadetree anything maker is that you use only the tools you have on hand. I use a drill press and a belt sander and files and a bech grinder and a hack saw and not much else. No special equip. to buy. Sorry to disapoint.

I kind of started making my own prototype. I needed a die grinder and or dremel tool, bench grinder, drill press, various bolts to cut down, a small sheet of 1/16" steel, set screws and machine screws. Kinda crazy but it's cool to see it shape up in front of you!
