When Woody gets on here, he'll definitely have in depth input for you on this. Woody is THE broadhead engineer for Magnus. He frequents often. Actually, I will move this thread to the Magnus forum, it should get the proper attention there.

Are you talking about the SS? I've shot them into foam and they are very accurate and easy to sharpen.

I shot the original Snuffer out of my stickbow last year. Works well.

Great broadhead for deer, or bear, or probably just about anything else

The Original Snuffer is with out a doubt something any animal doesn't want to see in your quiver.

The thing about the Snuffer is its lower blade angles for its cutting size make it a very efficient head, so you can get large cutting diameters and not loose to much penetration wise. The only trade off is weight and surface area.

It is a large surface area head which can complicate tuning but just like any other head, if its straight it'll fly at any speed. They are pretty easy to sharpen and touch back up.

If you in thick country, you'll like it, it makes a big hole and not just in the hide.

Woody, here is a testament from one of your users that posted up on another traditional bowhunting forum board.

Quote:
I've mostly been a Magnus Snuffer guy most of my 30+ years. I've tried many other broadheads but always seem to come back to the Snuffers. The only head I ever found to be close to them is the Woodsmans but I don't think they are a s tough as the Snuffers. Some of the reasons I stick with the Snuffers are;
1. They fly straight
2. They are tough and stand up to many shots, practice, misses and kills
3. They are easy to sharpen, and hold an edge
4. Massive Blood trails
5. Massive Blood trails
6. and of course Massive Blood trails.
This alone is reason enough for me to choose your poduct for my traditional bowhunting needs.
