I have been shooting magnus for 12 years now. This year alone I have taking two bobcats, 4 yotes and 15 boar hogs over 200 lbs. I shoot the 100gr. buzzcuts for my big game and 100gr stingers for small. Alot of people dont understand the boar hog. when they get over 200 the grissle plate is over 2inch thick. Either a hard 1/4 away shot or threw the legs is the best. there vitals are in the center of the leg. If you shoot behind the leg as you would say a deer it would be in the ponch with a hog. I have taking 5 with one head until the other nite. All my shots are dead center of the leg in the elbow. heart shot wont go over 15 yards. My last hog was 325lbs. The buzzcut enterd threw the elbow into the other. the boar took 5 steps back a piled up. after i got him cleaned up and tryed to pull my arrow out i noticed it was just breaking skin on the other side. after 5 boars threw solid bone my broadhead finaly was trashed. It broke the tip off in the entrance elbow about a 1/4in down the head and flatened the bleeders down in the other side. Who could ask fo a better head. And no i will not be sending it to get replaced. It did its job over and over again. Thank you MAGNUS. Oh and i am only shooting 60lbs.

Stories of success are always nice to hear, congratulations !!!!! I have never shot the stinger and or the buzzcuts but what I can say is Magnus 2 blade 125 grain broadheads are also pretty tough.
Keep making memories and posting your pics. Good Job !!!!!!!!!! Daniel |

Ah, come on, send it in. Better in my collection than yours.
![]() JK. I get a lot of mileage out of them as well and a head does get some sentimental value after that.

That's awesome. It just goes to show you that these BHs are nasty little creatures. And even though you're not taking them up, it's still amazing that Magnus would still send you one for free if you were to choose to do so. Two thumbs up for Magnus!!

Another Magnus fan here...And I own a different broadhead company
![]() Truth is Magnus makes great heads. I shot Snuffers and the big ol' Magnus I's for years and still love them. Magnus and their people build quality and stand behind it. I appreciate that. Great job on the hogs. Even better on the bobcats. What's your set up for taking them with your bow? |

if you are talking about the bobcats i set up in the creek bottoms during the first hour of day break or sometimes when peak heat hits. just depends on the moon. if moons out all nite its a morn hunt. then just lip suck and sqweek. 90% of the time they work there way up the creek. When i set up I like to be faceing down the creek and next to a noisey water fall or say a log makeing the water lound. you never going to here a bobcat anyways. I do that because when they do pop out it makes them look hard at the creek because now they cant here the critter and just water. hang a feather in a over hanging limb or buch just above the water about 15 yard out. as the water moves (or breeze) the feather they pin pointed then you can draw. If you are talking about the hogs i pack my tree stand and 8ft of legs with me. slip into the bedding close has i can and sit in between the in and out trail. they change so much thats why i pack it around everytime i got out. they are laying under over hanging bushes next to creeks now. best i have done is 3hogs in one hunt. i never sit in my stand past 9:00pm i like to slip in and get set by 6:00pm. i never hunt over a food or water source. they are smart critters. thats why i drill them when they are on the move. hogs move all day up and down the creeks. i hope this all makes sence hahah
