Default Woody dared me to do it again!!!

Well Woody, you dared me to do it again, so I stung another doe with a Stinger. Pics are the entrance wound, blood trail, and the doe. Had a great week in south Arkansas. Heat was almost unbearable, and it hadnt rained down there in a few weeks. Tough hunting, but a great time with friends. Only this doe with a bow, and two more with the smoke pole. Only two racked bucks I saw were early in the hunt and I hadnt stuck a doe yet. In this particular spot they have the earn a buck going so I had to let two repectable 8 points walk 10 steps from the tree while I sat on my hands... still a great week!

Congrats on the doe. The Stinger did quite a number on that entrance hole.

We were at Felsenthal near Crossett and El Dorado (north side Eagle Lake). It is an annual trip... bowhunt for a week, then the permit ML hunt. Always a good time regardless of the outcome!!!

Funny story about this doe. She came in from behind me and I stood, turned, grabbed my bow and clipped on my release. Guess I didnt have it clipped on very good and as I put a little tension on it let go, and the arrow went "funk" straight down and stuck in the ground at the base of the tree. She either didnt hear it, or thought it was an acorn falling. Had to grab another arrow and get drawn before she fed out of my last shooting lane. Went from a 28 yard shot to a 37 yard shot because I was screwing around up a tree. Worked out though!

We nicknamed one of my hunting buddies "DINK" because that's the sound his arrow made when it happened to him...

Glad it worked out for ya Mo/Ark....really cool...

I think Woody is daring ya again...
