I've been reading this forum for a long time, and gained a wealth of information from it. I'm finally going to jump in and post something. I have a question about the Magnus replacement warranty. How damaged does it have to be to be replaced? I shot a doe this weekend with my 100 grain two blade buzzcuts. Upon retrieving the broadhead, the point is slightly bent over. It wasn't visable when I first inspected it, but when I went to resharpen, I felt it right away. It is bent over just at the tip, and just a little bit. Is this a candidate for replacement? By the way, I smashed through the shoulder and out the ribs on the opposite side and had a blood trail that looked like a red carpet. Recovery was only 80 yards. Tremendous broadhead, my 4th deer with the buzzcut. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Send it in. Even if you get greased up on moonshine and swear a head was smack talking you...send it in. Its no questions asked and for any reason what so ever that you feel you need it replaced. We want you happy and thats it in a nut shell.

thanks for the reply woody. you reinforced why i use magnus broadheads. not only are they a superior blade in arrow flight and killing effectiveness, but the customer service is second to none. i thought i was getting too picky about the point being slightly bent, and didn't want to appear to be trying to take advantage of your company. however, i don't think i can sharpen the hook off the head without causing significant changes to the head, it is more than likely no good to me now. your response to my question is exactly why i tell all my buddies to use your broadheads, in fact, i'm going to forward your response along to all of the non-converts that i know. i have converted a few of my hunting buddies to magnus so far, and hopefully more will follow. thanks again, and i'll put it in the mail.

I just wanted to follow up on my original post. I took Woody's advice and sent the head in. Turns out upon further inspection, the one edge along the side was also rolled over. Anyhow, I got my new head in the mail today. Magnus is a rare treasure in today's world. I don't know of any companies, even outside of the outdoor world, that have customer service this good. No nonsense, and great friendly staff. My hat's off to you Magnus, and I am a cutomer for life. Thanks again.
