Just wondering what percentage of turkey bow hunters are using the huge turkey heads like Magnus Bullhead, Turkey Guillotine or more typical BH like Steelforce Phathead, Magnus Buzzcut?
I have been trying Magnus Bullhead 125gr. I seem to be good only to about 15 yds where I never miss. Using 5" feathers on a tuned Z7 and have good arrow flight. I love the "head chop" idea for fast recovery and no wasted meat but I'm starting to wonder if I should stick with regular BH where I know I can hit a fist sized target at 30yds every time. If it holds still... ![]() I'm planning to carry both right now. Nock the Bullhead and if I have a tom that is hanging out 20 to 30 yds away I will re-nock a 100gr Steelforce. You left out our newest and innovative "Diamond Edition Guillotine". It is shown here in the ready to hunt position for the blades as well as the other photo showing with a simple twist of the arrow, you unlock the blades, rotate them until they are one under the other and tighten back up...ready to easily put in most any quiver. The other unique aspect of this design beyond the fact our "Diamond" shaped blades control the flow of air to the molecular level allowing unbelievable accuracy from a true 3" by 3" cutting width four bladed broadhead making 30 yards shots easy....but BOTH sides of the blade are sharp...allowing a simple unscrew of the head, flipping one or both blades and continuing your hunt with fresh edges. Upon returning to camp or home...then you can easily resharpen them and be ready for the next day's hunt! These unique blades are made from solid titanium....strong! This design these past three years has accounted for tons of birds hitting the dirt from happy customers!
Lethal Engineering...we are not into copying or following others ideas....we remain innovators and leaders in the evolution of broadhead design...It's simply what we began doing and will remain doing! |
