Default The Inverter Broadhead

From the manufacturer's site:

"Inverter starts as a conventional Broadhead, then INVERTS to an enormous EXPANDABLE for quick, humane kills!

INVERTER was designed for the Bowhunters, who demand a conventional broadhead but would like the devastating cutting power of en expanding blade broadhead.

When shot, the INVERTER has a legal 7/8 inch cutting width in a closed position and looks like a conventional broadhead. When it hits the target the blade indentations catch on the hide and INVERT the blades to a huge 1-1/2 inch cutting width.

INVERTER cuts closed or open & flies like a field tip!"

Interesting, simple and looks like it is effective.

Looks like a tough blade angle to me and I certainly don't see any guarantee that it's going to open.

I have both swhackers and sonorans and they open every time and even if they didnt you would still have a 1" cut from the wing blades.
with this Inverter head being a similar design as the swhacker I dont see how it could fail. IMO
Anything "mechanical" can fail. We have hydrolic cylinders at work with several thousands of pounds of pressure that have became bound due to debris.

Is the likelyhood of this design failing very good? Not from what I can see butthe possibility is always there with a mechanical. It's just a risk many of us are willing to gamble with

The Swhacker is a very tough Broadhead and I would shoot em over these anyday. That being said these look almost like the same exact design so i think they would work fine. It's a comfort thing and im very comfortable with the Swhacker,Reapers, and Hellrazors so i'll stick with em untill they do me wrong And they better not LOL

Met a guy on my elk hunt with a cow tag shooting a 90# PSE xforce at 380 fps, he blasted completely through a cow elk with the broadhead unscathed. Don't shoot mechanicals personally but these were impressive.

They do seem a lot like the Swackers, and they look like they hold up well. I would'nt be afraid to try them. But really are they better than Swackers? Doubtful.

Is anything really any better than anything else, if you don't make the shot? Shot placement is what really counts. I almost bought Swhackers, but I'm shooting low poundage with fairly low kinetic energy (by today's standards) so I've settled upon the Aftershock Tremor 100's...once I have them in my hot little hand, I'll give them a try.
