Hey everybody! I have some 125gr 1 3/8" Grim Reapers and plan to do some hunting with a crossbow this year. The reapers I have are not the crossbow designated model, just the originals. Will these be ok to use out of my crossbow, as far as not deploying in flight and so forth? I'm shooting an Excalibur Excocet 200, with 430gr bolts at about 310fps. Thanks

I'm shooting the same crossbow and last year I spoke with a friend of mine who is an outdoor writer and he only uses grim reapers through his crossbow and he said the original heads will work fine and will not deploy in flight.

i wouldn't think so. I mean some speed bows are faster than some cross bows. To be sure test it. That would be really the only way to know. Good luck.
