More info on your arrow length, spine, what you have on the arrow etc and we will be better to give a better answer but if spined properly I don't see any problem with your setup.

Default Arrow flight

close range (10-20 yds) my arrows are on the money. but when i back up to 35 40 I see the tail end of the arrow going all over the place. what would be the cause of that? Do I need a heavier shaft?

Sounds like you may need to tune your rest a bit. I'll let the tuning experts tell you what/how to do that.

Your setup is PLENTY for reapers!

Make sure you not getting fletching contact with your bow or rest. What rest are you using?

What fletchings are on your arrows? Blazers?

Are the arrows impacting low and to the right generally? High and left?
