Ok yall I used Rage broadheads for the last two season's and NEVER had the first problem. I got pass throughs on everything except for the ram, but the only thing left inside him was the fletchings. Ive put them through bone with no problems.
There is no such thing as flight problems with these heads...they fly like fieldtips out to 60 yards (as far as I shoot) as do most mechanical heads. Ive shoot them out of un-tuned bows to see if it made a difference and no difference in flight with that bow either. First the Ram....he was standing broadside at 30 yards and the shot was right in the heart...Rage 2 blade broke both shoulders and like I said the only thing left inside was the fletchings he went maybe 5 yards and was dead in under 10 seconds. The small buck was standing at 30 yards quartering very slightly away shot took out both lungs and he went maybe 40 yards with an awsome bloodtrail. The coyote was also at 30 yards and my first shot was with a Rage 2 blade which hit her spine and dropped her completly my fault I rushed the shot, but made a very quick follow up shot. The shot pictured was a follow up with the Rage 3 blade a buddy sent me to try. From the time this arrow entered and exited the coyote she was dead in under 10 seconds. Plan and simple they work! All of the arrows used were around the 400 grain mark some alittle heavier...three different arrows out of three different bows and the same result's everytime VERY QUICK KILL'S and SHORT BLOODTRAIL's. Guys this is not a thread for bashing Rage. Like it says the thread title it is MY EXPERIENCE with them. Quartering to, quartering away, broadside ive seen them work 100% everytime. My buddy that sent me the three blade to try out has killed 11 deer with the two blade and 42 deer with the three blade worked everytime. Shooting them from a properly tuned bow, and making well placed shot's they do what they are supposed to do (somtimes on not so great shot's)
I have never seen one of these head's break either....slightly bent blade is the worst ive seen from hitting a rock after passing through. |

Nope got to pay to play. You might be able to find some alittle cheaper here or on AT. Ive seen them over there for around $30 every once in awhile. Depending on your specs I would use the 40 KE if your going to try them out. |

If you want to try them out get the Gators from Basspro. They are the same broadhead but Gators dont consist of the o-ring you gotta worry about on the rage and the fact that rage almost always opens in your quiver. Also the Gators are cheaper.
