Default Any Wasp Jak-Hammer Users

Good Morning!

I am new to the site. I have been using a compound forever. Friend gave me an Excalibur Exochet 200 crossbow. I have a buddy using Wasp Jak-Hammer 125 grain. He puts two of the washers on and swears by them. Any input on this mechanical. I am leaning toward a fixed blade but I always keep an open mind.

Have a buddy that uses them and swears by them as well. 1 3/4" cut width I think plus you can tie them together so the blades don't deploy and shoot them in practice. He's put down 8 deer in the last two years and never had a failure. huge entrance and exit holes and great blood. Good broadheads. the head itself is large though. usually bigger than the arrow shaft. don't think that matters though.

I have used them for 15 years and just love them !! Strong .036 blades & great bone shattering tip.

Any of you put an extra O-ring on to keep the blades from deploying early?

Default Got a Pack!

I got a pack of wasps in from my friend. Their weight is actually 120 grains. My practice heads are 125 grains. Is this enough to make a difference at 40 yards. I can add one of my weights and make it 127 grains. Which would be better, a little heavier or lighter? Am I being too picky?
