Well i got it done on the first day. 150 lb doe 25 yrds. Was not a pass through went about 80 yrds. First two are entrance wounds, third is the hole in the lung (it was a double lung), Then one of the clean kill by the wound. It was completely unscathed btw.

Wow, quite the hole there. Nice shot placement.

I could almost fit my fist through it. Im 5 10 175. So im no giant but its still impressive. I was really surprised at the durability, not a nick in the blades or anything. I will have no problem keeping them in my quiver.

I have to keep in mind to take pictures of the blood trail, and wounds with a ruler by them next time. I want to see a pass through and a heart shot. the pass through isn't attainable to me because I shoot a lower poundage, slower bow so my kenetic energy is lower, I will be trying real hard for the heart shot though.

Thanks for the info. I'm curious how the next few deer taken will turn out, keep us posted. I would like to see those activation tabs a little longer to give a bigger hole to bleed out. With that kind of cutting surface I don't suspect there will be many pass thrus.

An easy to follow blood trail is more important than total internal devastation in my opinion. If you can't find your harvest that is no good. Not saying that this won't do it, I'd just like to see some more data as they become more popular.

Well I will do my best to provide it. As for the blood trail I think its a trade off, if you have a great blood trail but little devestation the deer could go for awhile. If you have small blood trail but massive devestation it will be tough to find the deer but prolly wont go as far. I won't make claims about it being like dumping a paint bucket, because its not, however it is a very followable blood trail, and Im sure much easier to follow for an experienced tracker. Like i said Ill do my best to provide the info.

Not to change the subject but EVERY broadhead has had a complaint of poor bloodtrail at one time or another. Even the supernatural rage..... Bloodtrails are more a function of shot placement rather than broadhead type size etc........

Valid point. Rage supernatural? Ha. I watched one bounce off a squirrel's noodle at ten yards. I shot the arrow it was on. I know I hit him cause i knocked him out of the little tree. Never found the arrow, but when i went to go pick him up he got up and ran off, never thought I'd need an anchor shot on small game after I shot it with the all mighty rage. Needless to say I won't shoot them again. However, this is just my experience with them, if they work for the people that use them good, but they aren't my cup of tea.
