Default For you Gator shooters...what?

Hey guys I was wondering what the Gator ferrule was made out of? Steel or aluminum? How long are they from tip of the ferrule to where they butt up against the insert if you have one handy? Thanks again!

Pretty sure they are aluminum. Magnet wont stick to it. But will stick to tip.
About 1 3/4 inch from tip to insert. This was measured on the old style with the chisel tip.
