Practice blades don't seem to fly like the standard blades. I practice with standard and sharpen / replace as needed

Practice blades are designed to have as much surface area as the regular hunting blades but shaped differently to limit target damage and make pulling the heads out easier. On some bows, they may fly different, many they fly the same can be just a minor tuning or arrow setup issue, but I do always advise everyone to sacrifice a set of hunting blades and shoot them before going hunting just to be sure.

You must have hit him pretty good! I wouldn't hesitate to sharpen the practice blades and use them on small game, song dogs and so on.

I used mine when I first got the muzzy's. 10 years ago. sure was happy the day i slamed one into the other.. now I use retired blades. and dont shoot 2 at same spot...lol always start the season off with a ready to hunt BH from the quiver..then sharpen it back to sharp

a practice blade is exer to pull out.and give a gut a good idea of how it will fly with out messing up your good blades.after all we want to keep them nice and shap for the real deal
