105 is the 125gr tip and weighs 20grs.
106 is the 100gr tip and weighs 17grs
107 is the 75gr tip and weighs 13grs.
All the new MX heads use the 106 tip as well.

Broadhead models that use the 105 tip like our 115, 125 4bl heads, 125 3bl do have a longer threaded tip for the longer tip length of the 105 tip as well, but all tips will fit on just about all our ferrules.

Some tips will interchance but with the exception of our new MX-3 75gr and 125gr heads and replacement blades #312 for all our large 4bl heads, most blades are for that particular broadhead and will not interchange with other weights.

Interchangeable parts are great!I didn't know that. Not many companies don't that. Makes it nice!

That was another of the things that drew me to Muzzy many years ago, the ability to change out tips and blades easily in case they get damaged. With most other ferrules, if you damage the tip that ferrule is done, with a Muzzy, just replace the tip and blades and keep on shooting. However our hardened tips are very strong and will withstand a tremendous amount of abuse.

Probably not something you want to hear, but I did manage to breack a tocar tip. While broadhead tuning in 08, I pulled the last four shots from a 30 yd set and walked on back to 50 yds, for the the next group. Forgot to reset slider and slamed into a rhododendren rootwad, about 8 yds short of the broadhead target, the ferrule and two of the practice blades surived, as parts tent ervry where, I eventully found the tip by dragging a magnet around the area, broke a triangluar chip off the threads. oh and the insert was good!

speaking of tips and tip weight etc., the farmer whose land i hunt on recently found an arrow that i'd lost from last year. a muzzy 125 tipped horton crossbow arrow. the broadhead is still in pretty great shape actually! just some rust. im having a hard time getting the blades out, due to rust and either animal meat or dirt (depending on which arrow he found lol) my question is this, anybody have any extra tips laying around they arent using? like i said, its a 125 gr head, but judging from this thread, it wont matter too much. the reason i ask, is that a. the blades are still shaving sharp. and b. two years ago i had a tip unscrew itself in my quiver and was lost. so i've got 2 broadheads that are really in good shape still. if i get them both in working order id like to give them to my dad. hes in need of decent broadheads. thanks!
