I am shooting Gold Tip 7595s, 29.5" with 125gr heads and have been shooting the 2" blazer vanes, with as much right offset as I can get and get good contact with the shaft, for around 425gr total weight. I also like the original 125 3 and 4 blade Muzzys, and will be shooting a Hoyt rampage XT at about 65lb and 29.5" draw and expect about 270 fps out of this set up. I realize this is a small vane, and have not used it with a broadhead before, however it is a very stiff vane and was designed for fixed blade broadheads. Will this adequately stabilize my arrows with the 125 Muzzys? I planed to use a Wisker Bisut, but could swith to a drop away if I needed to in order to use a 4" aggresive helical. I say that because I don't think the biscut would shoot well with large helical fletch, but I don't know that for sure, and woulf like to avoid experimenting if someone knows it won't work. Would the blazers be ok? Could i shoot 4" helical through a biscut and get good flight? Should I just go with aggresive 4" and a drop away? Thank you for your advise and help

If you like fletching and re-fletching arrows, keep the Whisker Bisquit on, but with the 4" and a great helical, either go with the Octand XT Pro, or the NAP 360, or a drop away. If you like the containment rest, the Octane PRO is a good rest. Diamond is putting them on all their new line bows. Make sure you get the Pro addition with the red brushes, because the black brushes wear out after about 300 shots and the red one will hold up. As far as the NAP 360, it is OK and easy to adjust for any size arrow, but if you don't set it up right, it will blew the little plastic rest, on the bottom, right off. Apparently people have done it enough that when you buy the package, they give you 2 replacements. Also, feathers at 4" with a great helical work exceptionally well stablizing the Muzzy at 125 grain

I like helical and not very fond of offset, you want the fletching wrapping around the shaft but can be a problem with the whisker bisquit rest but I believe you will get more forgiving and better flight with a properly tuned drop away rest and can shoot a very aggressive helical as well which always will give better broadhead flight.

Most vanes available are good now and with drop aways you can choose a stiffer vane which does tend to stabilize better, have had good luck with AAE and Duravanes as far as durability, flight and staying glued on the shaft.
