Mx-3 great broadhead -

i got 2 packs of MX-3 100 gr. broadheads at ****s for 19$ each, they shoot great. i am shooting 28" 55/75 arrow, about 380 grains... out of a bear strike 48 lbs draw wt.my shot range is out to 35 yards most are 25 yards i hunt mosty with 1 pin set at 25 i now these will do the job. the old reg.green 1 used did fine also. muzzy 4 life i have always came back to muzzy this time for good. 18 more days to season in N.Y. my stand in the swamp waitin for me,can not wait. good luck to everyone this year Bob

in N.Y. We are 1 of the last states to open bow season Oct.15 i will post when i get 1 good luck.

well used mx-3 on a big doe last week, bad shot on my part, an i know better,took shot at about 45 yards arrow went were i aimed, to bad deer saw it turned sideways to get away and i Texas Heart Shot her,got 20" of arrow in her,we trailed her in a swamp,i knew she was hit bad kelp laying down went about 150 yards found her by a stream,the hole time were ever she stoped there was a 6" to 8" blood spot.mx-3 did do alot of cutting in there an is still sharp. we are in middle of rut now just got 2" of snow i have passed on 2 small bucks. hope i do not eat my buck tag. no pic.on doe, as it was hot out an i butcher it right away plus i did not like the way it went down, that muzzy ate her up 20" from a 47lbs bow is hard to beat on a 45 yard shot...1 tag down

Congrats Bob on your recovery and getting the deer, that MX-3 is a nasty broadhead and does some serious damage to the animals. Good luck with the buck!

Muzzy MX-3 was the best thing i found to hunt wild boars in Portugal. The Thunderhead i used before doesn't even compare to this.

This is a great broadhead,no doubt, but I think you should ad some more thickness to the blades.
