Default Fred Eichler Signature Series Phantom

I worked directly with input from Fred on this broadhead and along with our shop supevisor Rodney Morris this is what we collaborated on. Hope you enjoy and will definitely offer some penetration increase for traditional shooters and those looking for a great dangerous game head as well and allows us to fill a void in the 125gr 2bl and 150gr 4bl slot.

Fred Eichler Signature Series® Phantom Broadheads
New Traditional Style Cut-on-Contact Broadheads
for Traditional or Compound Archers
Longer, leaner and meaner. That's what you
get with the new Fred Eichler Signature
Series® Phantom Broadhead by Muzzy.
Manufacturer of the #1 selling line of
broadheads, Muzzy cut no corners when it
came to the design of these traditional
broadheads.
The engineers at Muzzy worked closely with
Fred Eichler, host of Easton Bowhunting TV
and owner of Full Draw Outfitters in
Colorado, to design a broadhead that
maximizes performance and penetration for
traditional or compound archers.
"I hunt in some of the most extreme weather
and terrain on the planet, and I wanted a
broadhead that I could depend on no matter
the situation," Eichler says. "With the new Phantom, that's exactly what I got.
These broadheads may be made for traditional archers, but their design
is revolutionary."
Eichler and the Muzzy
team took the original
Phantom design that is
already known for durability
and penetration, and
lengthened the blades, swept
the blade angle back and
gave it a tonto-style tip.
These modifications
combined perfectly resulting
in the Fred Eichler Signature
Series Phantom -- a deadlyaccurate
150-grain 4-blade broadhead with a 1 1/8" x 1" cutting diameter or a
125-grain 2-blade broadhead with a 1 1/8" cutting diameter.
So if you are looking for the ultimate broadhead for your traditional setup or
dangerous-game adventure, check out the new Fred Eichler Signature Series®
Phantom Broadheads by Muzzy.

How well will it perform out of a compound, say on Yukon Moose?

It will do very well on a compound with heavy arrows, but it is a large broadhead and you will need to use larger fletchings with an aggressive helical to stabilize well at the higher arrow speeds, but no problem with that!

nice design mark, i am looking forward to getting mine today or tomorrow, i just have one question, with them being just a little bit longer than the 125 phantom did you have to change the alloy for the in order to keep the ferel from bending? i had this problem with the old 125grn phantoms before.
thanks

We use a proprietary allow for our ferrules that is extremely strong and actually stronger then some steels. We did lengthen the ferrule but we also decreased the blade area past the ferrule and created a stronger tip section with this head to less tip bending or breaking and is actually stronger then our previous models although the over length is longer. This will be a very tough head for it's category. Thanks
