Default Braxe hanging up?

Has anyone said anything about the top of the braxe blade hanging up while going through a deer? you know the cut out piece thats sharpened. I have bought a pack and looking at them I am just inquiring. Thanks

Not saying it's impossible ... but unlikely. The Braxe is one of the best penetrating heads in the entire NAP lineup per our testing.

what was the testing medium. I'm thinking of running the broadhead through some paces. And maybe putting it on Broadhead talk.

Default Braxe hanging up

Had anybody killed deer with this head. I have a chance to pick some of these up cheap.

Our tech specialist has shot our heads through a variety of "mediums" and/or barriers, lol. The most common as far as looking at penetration is ballistics gelatin.

Last year, at my archery club, we shot all the NAP broadheads through ballistic gell. The Braxe was second in penatration only to the Nitron.

Here's one "field report" I was able to find over at AT:
Braxe Kill - ArcheryTalk Forum: Target & Bowhunting Chat

Another from someone else who measured/tested penetration with other heads:

Forgot about this one.

Someone sent our tech support a link to this post in another message board.

Anyway, shows that other folks have been skeptical of the design as well ... until they got around to testing it for themselves:

Radical fixed broadhead

Wow pretty impressive broadhead. Hope N.A.P holds onto that model a little while.

I had good success last year with the Braxe. Went right through the deer even with my low poundage bow.

Here's the video:
