As for a not-so-scientific test, I did have a guy send me a video (same guy as in a previous video) who shot both through a piece of tin backed with compressed wood. The 2-blade actually penetrated about 2" deeper through the barriers than the EDGE, though the POI wasn't dead nuts. The EDGE hit a the target high, and the barriers actually fell over, which may have had something to do with the difference in penetration, as the arrow likely lost momentum as the target/barrier itself tipped over ...

Of course, as odd as it may seem, the 2-blade is going to penetrate well, even with the large cut. The geometry of a standard 2-blade design means a more streamlined geometry in general—and the same is true of the 2-blade BR.

To this point, the vast majority of the critters shot with the 2-blade have been complete pass-thru's ... including several hogs, and a Kudu!

Either way, both of these heads are more than capable of deep penetration/pass-thru penetration ... especially on a deer sized animal.

I didn't think to take photos, but I just finished broadhead tuning my new Maxxis today ... and they do some wicked damage to a Block Fusion target as well, lol!
After much consideration I have decided to go with the bloodrunner 2 blade. I would love to have tried both but, with the lack of funds I had to choose one. The reason I asked if there were any tests on the bloodrunner or the T-head Edge because I intend to test the one I purchased on ballistics gel. Since there are no tests done on either I will try to video tape the test and provide pictures.

Bear, PM me your mailing address, I'll send you one of each head so you don't have to use one of yours.

Just got this video back last night.

I think John was probably referring to "broadhead talk" in the video ... ?

Anyway, that steel drum didn't stand a chance, lol!

Sinister, sorry for editing your post ... I was trying to quote it.

Here's a short video from last week. Had just got my bow back, and decided to make sure it was tuned for broadheads.

This was after adjusting the rest to get my field points and the Thunderhead EDGE's hitting together. Watch closely and you can see a vane "exit stage right" on the last shot. Only shot out to 40 yards, but they're dropping right in there nice and tight with my fp's!

... C'mon September!
