Who killed 19 deer last year with the BR? Happy to say that we did had no problems whatsoever. My farthest shots last year were all within 20 yards. My FIL shot a few deer out to the upper 40 yard range.
The sound that a bow makes.......even the quietest bow in the land........is going to be louder than the sound that any broadhead can make. When that trigger on your release is touched and that string is "set in motion" that deer is going to know it. Can he/she be quick enough to "jump the string"? I think it depends on the distance and the alertness of the deer. As far as BH noise, you could have one of those "deer whistles" that goes on the front of a vehicle that warns deer your coming on your arrow. Whats done is done!!! Your either going to the taxidermist or the freezer......or your cutting your shirt tail off back at camp! |

Well I have decided that I am going to work up a bh test. The 2 blade will be in it along with the hellrazor. I am hopefully going to go in depth enough to debunk some of AT's magic aka bash fest.

AT just ticks me off sometimes. There is a guy over there slamming the 2 blade blood runner because he shot the PRACTICE head and it made noise. So because the PRACTICE head made noise he is not going to shoot the 2 blade bloodrunner, because everyone in the county was wondering what that buzzing sound was when he was shooting.
Sorry had to vent, some people......

I shot the 2 blade bloodrunner in my video and many, many times after the video and never heard a "hissing" sound. Just because the practice head made a hissing noise doesn't mean the real head will, that's why "PRACTICE" is labeled on the side.

I agree, I have shot the practice head and the real hunting heads and noticed a hiss with the practice, but not with the 2-Blade BR hunting head.
But again, if your bow is quiet a deer or other big game animal isn't going to be able to "jump" the arrow in a 1/3 of a second if you put the arrow on the animal where it should be. |
