How well do these heads come out of a target? It looks like it would be a little difficult unless you push it through if it didn't penetrate through the back to begin with.

Well first of all I haven't had a chance to shoot one in a target yet. But the broad heads works by pressure on the tip. When trying to pull it backwards takes pressure off tip goes into closed position which is smaller,it should come out fairly easy.

I shot this head into my BH target 20 times, it is a little tuff to pull out but i had no problems in my testing.

Ive shot the actual hunting head into a target a few times and pushed it through and screwed the head off to remove the arrow.
However, the practice head comes out very easily and is no problem at all when removing it from a target. |

I haven't shot the 2-blade into a foam target yet, but I recently shot the 3-blade while broadhead tuning. It wasn't any more difficult to remove from the target than the Thunderhead EDGE. I was using both a McKenzie Shotblocker and a Block Fusion crossbow target.
I would of course suggest using one of the practice heads if you're planning on practicing "often". |
