Default **2011 New Products**

Though not all of these are "broadheads" obviously, I wanted to go ahead and post up all of our new products for 2011. Give you a "one shop tour" of all our new offerings in one place.

If you have any questions, throw em out there!

First, we extended the Thunderhead lineup again for 2010 with the new Thunderhead RAZOR. Essentially, there are those fellow hunters out there that are convinced that serrated blades produce more "drag"—and simply won't use them. As well, there are also a few states that do not allow for use of serrated blade broadheads ... so we decided to release the RAZOR—which is the same head as 2010's Thunderhead EDGE ... only without the serrations. For anyone who's spend any time here ... you by now are aware of my personal feelings on the Thundehead EDGE ... which holds true with the new RAZOR!

Also new within the broadhead lineup is the new F.O.C. 2-blade. The F.O.C. comes in at 170grs. ... with a 3" cutting diameter! It was initially designed for use with crossbows, to allow for added weight while eliminating the need for brass inserts. What we have found in testing (basically just playing "curiously") is that it's also an effective head out of crossbows. Per testing, we've decided to also offer it in the "compound" section as a turkey head. During testing out of compound bows, we found that at 25 yards, there was little difference in POI to a 125gr. head. As a matter of fact, the difference between heads of 100, 125 and 160grs. was minimal at 25 yards. I'll post a photo of our findings here later.

The F.O.C. will come as a 3-pack, with 3 170gr. "practice"/field points included in each pack.

Beyond broadheads, we've also provided some line extensions to the Apache rest for 2011. On the "original" Apache, it will now be offered in both black and APG camo. It is now also available in a left-hand model.

To take it a step further, we have just recently redesigned the standard Apache to fit on the Hoyt "Hawk" series bows. For anyone "in the know", we found out after the fact last year that the Apache would not fit the Hoyt "Hawk" series bows. So ... we re-engineered it to make it fit. This will be a running change in manufacturing ... so the "Hawk-friendly" models may not be available in stores right away.

Building off the standard design, we are also offering a "micro-adjustment" version of the Apache for 2011. So, you will now have true "fine-tuning" & tool-less features available via the new Apache Micro. It too will be offered in black or Realtree APG. For 2011, it will only be offered right-hand ... but expect a LH model to come. Here is a photo of the Apache MICRO in APG:

We are also releasing a new stabilizer for 2011 ... the Apache stabilizer. Available in 5-inch or 8-inch models, it will also be available in all-black or Realtree APG. The 8-inch model includes a removable 3" "carbon fiber" extension. Both models feature our "soft-touch" finish to reduce glare.

Last, for 2011, we have gone with a new tube material and new production process to improve on providing consistent quality with regard to our QuikFletch's. We had some "batch issues" previously regarding the previous tube materials ... as well as vane adhesion due to the combination of that tube material and the "old" production process.

Both have been revamped ... and there's an added "new feature". The "branded" QuikFletch's will now feature new "full color" tube designs.

Also, we will have a 3" vane QuikFletch designed for crossbow bolts. The 3" vane has a lower profile than the standard 2", which allows it to fit within the varying "depths" of crossbow rails—we found that the 2" vanes did not fit well with some of the available crossbows due to the rails being a bit too shallow. For "compound" bowhunters who prefer a bit longer vane ... these will also work just fine on carbon and/or aluminum arrows as well ... just an FYI.

Here are some samples of what the new QuikFletch's will look like for 2011:

The new "Archer's Choice" tube designs:

The new Bone Collector tube design:

The new Realtree Outfitters tube design. The Realtree QF will still feature 3 all-white QuikSpin vanes.

The "New Archery Nation" tube design. This particular QF design will feature 3 all-white Twister vanes.

This is the new "standard" tube design for both QuikSpin and Twister QF versions:
