Nothing wrong with the standard Spitfires ... they've been consistently getting the job done for 17 years or so now.
I think one of the reasons the MAXX is getting a lot of attention lately is the whole movement towards guys wanting the largest cutting diameter they can get. So, with the MAXX, you get a 1-3/4" cut rather than the 1-1/2" cut of the standard Spitfires. There are still quite a few guys that shoot the standard model—though I personally shoot the Maxx myself. |
