Love how these suckers fly.....not the Blackbirds....the Talons...

I thought it was funny how my wife reacted to this as well as my little girl talking about our cat Thomas...

But thought it was really cool seeing the feathers fly after I hit it...

Oh Travis, once again, great video. I'm not sure what was better, the shot you put on that bird while it was swaying in the wind, or your daughter's comments.

Did you find the arrow?

Nice shot, you gotta get some flu flus then you can shoot like that all day and not loose one. So far the farthes I can get one to go is 100 yards trying to shoot it as far as I can. I use 6 full length feathers with right helical. 20 yards and under they are quick and very accurate, after that they drop quickly.

The poof of feathers was funny. I guess I am going to start filming . From Jackrabbits to blackbirds. Too hogs pretty soon.

Chris...those stupid blackbirds not only eat the pets food they also keep the purple Martins away...which eat thousands of mosquitoes a day...and the less mosquitoes there are... the better....blackbirds are just a nuisance..

Oh and BFL...after watching the video in slow mo....found my arrow..

Yeah I know we have 7 big martin houses and rely on them, my sons know there is a butt whippin if 2 birds are shot around our place, martins and mockingbirds. The black birds are not that bad here. I am glad the slow motion helped you retrieve the arrow.
