Standing Bear will become famous soon enough
Default RFA Talon vs 3/4" plywood

Alright folks, this is what this little baby does to a 3/4" sheet of plywood. I was shooting at a distance of 30 yards and using my APA Black Mamba 7.5 bow set at #84 lbs. I was able to get a few more pounds on my bow using the manufacturers recommendations.

See it for yourself

Awesome!

I think Stan should enter these into all the steel drum tests. He could claim that his is the only one that will still be just as good as before the shot!

This was a very helpful test, actually. I was considering shooting these when I'm up on the tundra, and it looks like they would penetrate TOO well, and result in lost arrows like field points or judo points. They look awesome for harder ground, though!

AA, I think you might be right about the spongy tundra, but there is a simple fix. Buy some Zwickey Scorpios and slide them onto your arrow shaft. The result is an unbreaksble head with Zwickey's "unlosable" spring arms...the best of both worlds. I like the scorpios the best because they slide down the shaft and you can still get the head through grass to make the shot. Killed a gopher in the neighbors yard that way that I wouldn't have got with a regular judo because it hit about an inch low in the dirt. The shaft slid through the Scorpio and the Talon impaled him

It was a good kill.
