Standing Bear will become famous soon enough
Default Phoenix headed for the great white north :)

Yeap, we have a flock of Phoenix 150 grain heads flying towards the Northwest Territories, they are bound to arrive for our caribou/moose season. They will help their cedar shafts fly towards their final destination !!!!!!! The weather is pretty good, lots ot rain, vegetation and water holes.

Now I'm PUMPED !!!!!!!!!!! My longbow/Phoenix combo, man I am looking forward to that

Thanks Stan !!!!

Awesome! I would love to be lucky enough to hunt a moose and a caribou in my life time. Let alone with traditional gear, and on top of that the phoenix.

Daniel, I saved the hunting arrows for last. They will be fletched and ready by Monday. I drilled the front end and added a 2" 6d nail to get the weight right at 600 grains. Should be good medicine for big critters. Looking forward to hearing about your hunts. Is it in September?

Our moose season starts September 1 ans ends January 31 I should be setting up my blind in a spot not too far away from home. I will be doing this in late July, will be exciting.

Our bowhunt near the Liard range is the third week of September for two weeks. Lots of woodland caribou at that location plus some dall sheep at the higher elevations.

you have yourself a great evening.

Well alright guys and gals, I think the Phoenix flock just crossed the US/Canadian border and are on a course for the Northwest Territories

I've taken the time to clear a landing strip just behind the house allowing them to land without any issues, lets hope this all work out !!!!!
