Default Awesome head...

Hey guys, I am new to broadhead talk, but wanted to say what an awesome head this is... First, I ordered the phoenix head on Friday, they were in my mailbox today... The service was great...and I not sure how everyone else feels, but went I sent an email with questions on the head Stan gives me the reply. Being able to talk to the guy that makes them vs talking to someone who works for the company that makes them is something that (known that I know of) no one else has to offer. Anyway, I like this site, and the phoenix.... I will keep you posted on the hunt. Arkansas bow hunt starts Oct 1st, and I am ready now..

Hey Bigtimber, first welcome to the best archery site on the net. This place is great. Second, thanks for your order and the kind words about the Phoenix. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you and seeing some pictures of you with an Arkansas whitetail. Good luck this season!

These things are tough... How many animals will one of these things kill before they wear out...? I don't think they will ever wear out... What are ya'lls opinions?

I am not sure but I am hoping to take at least 3 deer this year with 1 head maybe more.

I will try and do the same... We have a 5 deer limit, so I will see if I can take all five with one head...I really think this head can handle it.

I think the biggest limiting factor will be whether or not you can find the arrow after pass through. We don't have a limit on the number of does we can take this year because we are trying to thin them out so I am going to try and whack and stack all season long!

Bigtimber - thanks for joining us here, and a great thread to start things out. The RFA Phoenix is a home run (IMO). I thought Stan had something when he exploded out of the gate with the Talon. Then he chases that one down and blows the doors off it with the Phoenix. Keep your eye on this chap, he's going places.

Ooh, I'm smelling a contest

Here's the deal and it'll be all on the honor system, which this site is awesome for. Take a pic of every big game animal that you take with the SAME head and post it on a thread I'll start on this site. Include the broadhead in the pics or they don't count. Post your count next to your pic. We'll call turkeys on up big game. Go through the end of the year 12-31-2010. Winner gets another pack of broadheads, t-shirt and truck decal. This is solely for fun so have a good time with it. If I'm missing something that we should add help me out.

Great idea and I really think if the head can be found it will last indefinitely, it is as solid as an M1 Abrams tank!
