Thanks guys! Now if I could just find the turkeys and manage to hit one I would have all my regular archery tags filled for the year. I do still have 4 antlerless tags so it's time to break out the recurve again and try to get on the does, Hopefully I'll get to break in a Phoenix 150 gr.

Alright, I finally got it done on a whitetail. This is the second kill with this broadhead. I killed the hog in Oklahoma, and now this 9pt. I never posted pics of the hog in this thread, so I'm throwing that one up here too. The dang head still looks new, other than the coating being roughed up a bit.

Awesome Steve!!! How cool is that to kill the same buck that you have on your trail cams. I bet that was an awesome feeling when that deer stepped into bow range!

It is an awesome feeling, and I've had that feeling three seasons in a row now. Last year was with the shotgun though, archery the year before.

So it looks like Dustin, Bill and Steve all tied with two. What shall we do to break the tie?

I would be fine with that I would have to drop my 60 pin to make an 80 yard shot but it would be fun or comical for everyone else

And Bill said he killed 3 but he couldn't claim the yote so as far as I am concerned he wins. I gave it a good push lol but it was a very tough year for me up here.

And Steve every time I look at that buck I just love how symmetrical he is.

Dustin thanks for the vote but I wouldn't feel right, rules are rules and I didn't get a pic with the yote so it shouldn't count. As far as the 80 yard shoot off I don't think I can even see 80 yards, so I'm out! lol

Maybe you should go with the biggest buck out of the three of us, Steve wins hand down that buck is a dandy for sure!

I would be fine with that as well, it wasn't a good year for me in general so I don't feel like I should win. I would have no problem letting Steve have it for big buck because it sure was a dandy.

Bill & Dustin - thanks for the votes, but I'm too modest to accept the win. If I'm the default winner because I shot the biggest buck, then so be it, but let it be known that the rules did not state this was a big buck contest. I don't feel right accepting the win, so I think I will work with Stan to come up with some type of give-away and I'll donate my prizes to that. I think someone from the BHT community should get the prizes, or at least that's what I want to do with it. I'll see what Stan thinks when he gets back from Indy. Thanks again guys.

Me too, Dustin. Talked with Steve tonight on the phone and we've got an idea cooking. Will get on it soon when I get some time.
