All right this is the official contest thread. Rules are simple. You have to use the SAME Phoenix for each big game animal you post a pic of on this thread. If you lose it start over. Be honest. Turkeys on up count. Post your kill number next to each new pic. Include the head in the pic. Contest runs until the end of the year, midnight 12-31-2010 and is open to everyone but me. Winner gets a new pack of broadheads, a t-shirt and a truck decal. Oh yeah, last rule...have fun this season

Stan, that's enough excitement to give a guy a heat attack !!!!!!!!! yeah, hopefully I'll start today. I should be sleeping but I'm too excited, have to get up in 5 hours, might get a few hours in before I leave huntin' but how nice of you to do that !!!!!
Thank you Stan ![]() Daniel

Now this is a contest I can really sink my teeth into! I am hoping to make it to 6 does and a couple shooter bucks, now if I can do that its one thing. If I can do that and not loose the phoenix in the thick brush then I think I will have a good chance. I am not worried about the head breaking I am solely concerned with it being stuck in a tree or lost

I am like ya'll, I am not worried about the head, I just need the deer to come by. I do have a ton of hogs though
This will be fun. Just thinking: the only problem Stan might have with the broadhead is that they are too tuff....Usually I buy heads every year because the "ones" I was shooting were tore up. I don't think I will have that problem now(the heads messing up)!!...but I will do my part to keep the head around every year.. having extra heads is a good problem to have!

Now that's a great idea, I will have to find a youtube tutorial in how to prepare the feathers.
I am going to do it varmint101 and the same Phoenix broadhead which will be used in my next hunt will be fletched with these feathers, again, fantastic idea !!!!!!! Thank you !!! Daniel

Thank you Stan, I must admit, your Phoenix far exceeded my expectations plus it got the job done quicky. The blood trail was amazing to say the least, tahnk you again.
Sylvie told me we could use another bear and all grind it up as hamburger. So this week end could be bear time with that same Phoenix broadhead. And I don't think you have to worry about the success of this broadhead, even after pulliung out of the log, it could have been shot again as much as it retained its edge, Great job STan, great job RFA. Can't wait to see what it does to a moose, we'll have to cross our fingers !!!! Daniel

Standing Bear--- were you actually hunting the crane, or did it just happen to come out? It might be a stupid question, but I don't think Arkansas has a crane season and if it did it would be tuff to kill one.(you just don't see many) Are that many where you hunt? I guess what I am asking 'whats the story on the bird/hunt'?
