Well I decided on my high F.O.C. arrow setup for my 80lb bow. And I have finally got around to making my arrows.
Here is a quick preview I am hoping to get some completed arrows pictures. This has the wrap "length box" around it so ignore that small boarder that is shown. ![]() The total weight of these arrows will be around 525 grains and should be shooting somewhere around 275 fps. They are Easton Axis Nano St's cut 28" long and have been squared on both sides. I decided to go with 75 grain inserts up front with a 100 grain head for this season. After this season I will go with a 125 grain phoenix. And I am shooting the firenock this season (first year with lighted nocks) Even with the heavy lighted nock in the back I am around 15-16% FOC. I decided to go with the razor feathers and let me tell you they are the quietest fletching I have ever herd in flight. There is no sound the only sound is when my arrow slams into the target

I love the wraps! This is the first year I havn't wrapped and fletched my hunting arrows. I got lazy and bought some pre fletched. I will have to see about getting some of those made up for my arrows next year.
