Yes, I will admit it, I didn't use one one yesterday and as I went to unscrew a 100 grain Phoenix, my left hand index finger paid the price....Ouch !!!!!!!!!
I have butterfly stitching today but I can still hold my bow That is great news.So to all of you that don't use a broadhead wrench and that you still haven't cut yourself, well take it from this guy and Use One!!!! A reminding post

Great advice SB.
I never used to use one until I ended up in the ER getting stitched the night before leaving on a week long bear hunt. Worst part was that back then I was shooting with my fingers!

Glad no real damage was done but I will admit I need to get better about using one as well.

Never discount "Engineering Controls" when it comes to safety...that is priority #1 when engineering a system to be used by man in accomplishing some task, typically in a production environment. And why I felt it important to attempt to solve the riddle of "Safe to Handle" broadheads. Too many bowhunters have less serious, but also much more serious results in mis-handling broadheads each year...let alone the many whom have had open heart surgery or some other medical complication which requires them to be on blood thinners and cannot risk even the slightest of a cut. Many have relayed to us thier appreciation for us being the first to offer "Safe to Handle" broadheads which remain equally as lethally effective as any other scalpel sharp model.
