1 1/4 on the 150 and 1 1/8 on the 125.

You're making my decision hard, Stan! I want the wider blade to compare to the German-Kinetics XL broadheads I have coming -- 1 1/2" dia. -- but those are 125gr XLs. Not to mention I would have to get different weights if I go with the 150s since 150gr makes my spine too weak. I guess I can give up 1/8" to keep my broadhead weights consistent.

Think the next design could be a 1.5"dia., 125gr. 2-blade single bevel broadhead as long as your 150gr.? That would be the cat's meow!

Well, off to pay bills and then pre-order some 125gr RazorHawks!

EDIT: You do realize you'll have to come up with a jig for the 2-blade now, don't you?

I will definately be needing some 150's for my Traditional setup. Those should look good on the end of a Goldtip Traditional shaft or an easton 2216. I will be placing an order soon for a few of those, they look great Stan!

I may have went a little over board:

1 pack 100 grain phoenix heads
1 pack 125 grain razorhawk heads
2 pack 100 grain razorhawk heads

I pitty any whitetail coming into my range this fall.

I would love to Stan but I can't afford to as of now.

I don't think you went overboard but those should last you a few years. If the Razorhawk is half as tough as the Phoenix I'd say you should be good for a few dozen whitetails or more.

Geez, man! These aren't like those flimsy replaceable-blade broadheads that get destroyed after a few shots. All it takes is some resharpening, you know...

I know I went overboard, but I like to have some on hand so if someone asks about them I can either let them shoot one or send one with them don't mind spreading the RFA love around.

Also Amelia is wanting to hunt next year so having a few extra heads on hand doesn't hurt

Already got one...it's called a KME Seriously, my KME sharpener is the ants pants and the bees knees. Check them out if you don't already have a sharpening system for two-blades and knives.

I know that bees have knees, but I had no idea that ants wear pants. I wonder if they're made by D i ckies or Carhartt (seeing as how it's the "worker" ants that would probably wear them)?

I'll have to check out the KME sharpener. I have a Spyderco Sharpmaker with 30 and 40degree angles. Would that work?

I think the 30 might work, but it won't match exactly. That's what I love about my KME, it's adjustable to any angle. Lets me change the bevel if I want to (like with old Grizzly heads) and then hone them up razor sharp. If you give Ron a call tell him Stan says hello. He's a great guy.

I get great groups with field tips. I haven't tuned my bow but since the field tips are hitting well im not worried about these 2 blades at all. If they are as good as everyone says, than im sold for life Stan !
